I’m Creating My First Digital/Print Product!
It’s a very simple idea, but I believe in it regardless of what the outcome may be.
I came up with an idea for a digital/print product because I thought it was time to test something new.
One of my goals is to make a good amount of money from Medium, but at the moment, that’s not possible because I don’t have a large following.
And that’s okay.
I’m not here to complain about it.
But just because my audience is small doesn’t mean I can’t offer them more than my writing.
This is also a test for me to see if I can create and sell a product.
It may be a complete flop, but this is the process I want to undergo to figure out if a product like this is worthwhile for me.
And without further ado…..
I’m creating an accountability and gratitude journal.
I plan to sell it in both digital and physical form, hence the digital/print thing…. anyways!
Some of you may be groaning and thinking, ‘not another low-content book,’ but hear me out. It’s not just a book with lined pages.
To make this journal different, I’m going through all of my content on Medium.
I’m reading through everything I’ve written in the past two years and picking out the most impactful lessons I find.
Each of those lessons will be included in the journal as daily reminders.
I know this idea isn’t new, but what’s different about it is me.
This journal will be a compilation of all the lessons I’ve learned over the past two to three years.
Lessons, I believe, have the power to make a lasting impact, especially if you pair them with a daily activity like journaling.
My goal is to provide a product that can help people get in the habit of practicing gratitude, improve their mental health, and maintain accountability so they can work towards achieving their goals.
I’m estimating I will be done putting this journal together at the end of March and will try to launch it in April.
I will be making an official announcement once it’s ready with an official release date.
Tell me, have you produced a product? Were you able to sell it?
