DIARY OF AN OUTLIER
I’m Beat! A 15 km Hike In The Jungle
Journal Nouveau 124

I put the coffee on at 6:30 this morning, and we were out on the deck by seven enjoying the coffee. This is a normal start for any given day. It was overcast and 22 Celsius with overcast skies. The deck surface told me a few raindrops had made impact, but it wasn’t raining.
And, as usual, I checked my Medium earnings — yesterday wasn’t a bad day, not the best but decent none-the-less. Yesterday, I roughly outlined the Scotland-Ireland-Wales-England trip and that served for our discussion over coffee. In the next few days, I will give her the main city destinations so she can begin her searches for things to see and do.
The plan stated yesterday was for us to hike to San Pancho and back today as there is too much risk for rain tomorrow. Once breakfast was done, I packed up my small daypack and we were off. That was at 10:30 this morning. We had lunch in San Pancho and then headed back on full stomachs — I ate too much.
By the time we got back to the apartment, we had walked 14.75 kilometres. As well, a good number of photographs were taken, mostly by me. She did take a few as well, naturist images of me such as this one.

We made it home for 4 pm and we were more than done for the day. I have to admit, it might have been a bit much after several days of almost no hiking and then short hikes because of my right foot. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
