I’m an adult and I love watching cartoons

Why do people think cartoons are just for kids?

I was once told that I should never forget the child that is inside me and I have never really forgotten that phrase. Growing up, we have a habit of forgetting what we made us happy in childhood and we moved on to our boring adult life, full of problems and obstacles to overcome.

I refuse to be one more among the millions of people who are like this.

Humans tend to have the chip to become adults and forget to have fun and cancel simple things like watching cartoons from their lives!

Obviously I don’t watch all the cartoons that are on TV but I really enjoy watching some, especially the "Simpsons", "Family Guy", "American Dad" and I realize that these cartoons are made specifically for adults but sometimes I often watch the "Scooby Doo" I watched when I was a kid!

And I don’t regret it at all and I’m not even ashamed of it! I love it and I think it’s super funny!

I was telling this to a co-worker of mine once and she kind of looked at me judging me for it! Do you think it’s normal?

That woman is certainly not happy.

We have to have a childish side in us, innocence, the value we place on things, people and simple cartoons!

To top it all off, these days I still like to go to the children’s toys section to see the Barbies! In my childhood they made me a lot of company and I remember good times playing with the my little friends!

With this article I hope I’m not the only one to admit that I watch cartoons and also like this kind of childish thing!

Tell me everything in the comments! ❤️
