I’m Alive, Itches!!!!

Thanks only to God and naps.

Yesterday was my first excursion out since March 26, the day that will live in infamy in my life, anyway. Three quick stops, one my driver did the hop out for me, and I had to have two naps and an ice pack when I got back. When the surgeon said 6-weeks recovery time my response was, “Yes for the peasants but for us gods, how long for us gods?” Apparently, body healing post-op is no distinguisher of persons. 6-weeks is 6-weeks.

Frack.

This coming Friday (yes, tomorrow) I’ll have the stitches out and hopefully, get a detailed accounting of exactly WTF went wrong while I was under anesthesia. It was supposed to have been 2 hours and 15 minutes from in the door to out the door. It was closer to 6. Days after but still groggy I noticed abrasions on my right ankle, right knee, an overly plump vein in the crook of my right arm, and a goose egg on either side of the recently jabbed vein.

Lucy got some splaining to do ya’ll.

I’m hoping that with stitches out and my feeble attempts to resemble the nearest thing I can to stability, I will begin to feel like my old self again. We shall see.

But for now, I hear a pizza calling my name…

What exactly happened while I was under??

How the whole health started with season 1, episode 1. Additional links of subsequent episodes are at the bottom of this one below.

I’m sure there will be no doubt at least two more episodes before the inevitable cancelation happens. Friday is the post-op F/U, and the 21st is when I have this thing on my what’s it scanned.

Stay tuned.
