ILLUMINATION Is My New Home!

East or West, home is the best.

In 2019, joining Medium was the best decision I made and so are I think, many who did the same before and after.

But becoming part of the ILLUMINATION team in 2020 was another level at all. It inspired me to write and engage more with the readers and writers of this publication and in Medium generally.

This post is probably will be the first and last one where I will be referring to ILLUMINATION as a publication.

The reason I am saying this is not that it is not a publication, but my concept about it has changed forever.

I have experienced something exceptional since becoming an active member of this community.

I am not referring here to the views or reads that have improved dramatically but, rather the friendly and supportive environment that makes you feel like you are at home.

In fact, this place feels more like a family home. A place where people care more about you than anything else.

This has led me to re-examine my view about ILLUMINATION and choose it to be my new home as long as this platform continues to exist.

Home is where someone usually wants to be, feels comfortable, has freedom, and at the same time finds peace and happiness.

I have found that in ILLUMINATION.

When I say ILLUMINATION is my home, I mean it.

Because in the last two weeks or so, when I am not writing an article to publish on it, I have found myself wondering inside this place for long hours reading different posts that can help me improve personally and my writing as well.

Diversity in action

The posts found in ILLUMINATION is usually written by very inspiring and talented writers with so many different backgrounds and diversity.

Some of the writers here are published authors, some of them are top writers in Medium, some of them have got years of experience on their back, and some of them are beginners like me.

This is the beauty of having so many diversity in one place. It attracts you in such a way that you won’t even feel you have spent hours inside it just reading articles.

Another thing that makes it even more beautiful is the positive feedback you get from your readers and fellow writers especially when you are new to writing.

This is what makes ILLUMINATION standout from the rest.

This is where writers can come and grow while at the same time display their creativity with so much confidence and get their work published as soon as possible once they have submitted it.

This is also where readers can enjoy their precious time, gain many useful insights from various topics that are interesting and relevant to them at the same time.

Final thoughts

In the end, I have no doubt that ILLUMINATION is growing fast and heading where it belongs to be. That is the very top of the Medium pyramid and even exceed beyond that.

If you are a reader welcome with an open heart and mind to gain what you are looking for.

If you are a writer join us with passion and determination to succeed all the way.
