Illuminating The Lone Wolf
Who They Are
When you think about solidarity, it is often associated with somebody who has the capacity to carry themselves in an independent manner. But, what if there is a way to illuminate the character of somebody who is alone and confident in their presence among others?
Meaning, we can look to somebody as a beacon of hope that kind of separates themselves from the rest of the pack (us) and they are symbolic of a person who can be trusted upon and relied on for advice, hope, for guidance, for stability, for encouragement, for support.
We never really talk about it because it is a topic that doesn’t garner too much interest, but we should analyze what makes this type of person unique. What are some of their qualities, characteristics, drawbacks, and the impact that they can have upon everyone else?
Well, we should assume that this person in question has a moral compass, radiating confidence, has a sense of purpose and direction, and has their life decisions on a consistent reverberating pathway. This provides clarity in the form of admiration. When we think about somebody who has influential status, we would say that these individuals have earned this prestige.
Whether bought, or built, either way, this person has acquired a level of respect from everyone around them because they have experienced the difficulties rendered and paid their dues along the way.
That is why they can often be associated with a leadership role or just somebody who could be free-spirited and choose to forge their own paths. In terms of solidarity, a person who is vehemently focused on doing things their own way is the true definition of a lone wolf.
It doesn’t necessarily mean that they operate in ways that adopt independent mannerisms. It just means that they walk, speak, move, and work with lonely intentions.
Not to be confused with loneliness, that is when a person voluntarily or sometimes involuntarily chooses to do things alone. It is essential to know that these are individuals who are hard to come by because they aren’t found in an average person’s demeanor.
The persona of somebody who lives according to societal standards might dress and talk a certain way, but that is generalizing what it looks like in your mind. I wouldn’t know what that looks like. For the lone wolf, this person could be hiding amongst us, they are some of the most self-sufficient people you will ever know. They are not afraid to fail, not afraid to lose things most valuable to them.
It can be counter-intuitive sometimes, as they may not know what their limits are, or when it is time to transition into another endeavor. It also doesn’t help that they are immersed in different things. This ranges from hobbies, interests, friendships, ambitions, careers, goals, ambitions, levels of knowledge.
They are so multi-layered that it is difficult to decipher what these individuals are truly about. And what matters the most to them. If you are able to come across one of these people, and you try to talk to them about their goals in life, or what they are most concerned with, they might tell you something that is contradictory to what you were expecting.
The impact of what they wish to provide is something we’ll never find out. It is only up to those individuals in question to tell us what the meaning of life is to them.
You can never get close enough to the lone wolf, literally if you try to do this you will be killed. It is not advisable to strike a conversation with a wild animal in the wilderness, this should not be taken to a point. Figuratively, you can’t really do this either.
For someone with similar qualities, a lone wolf will probably not appreciate closeness from another person. It is not a part of their nature. Some of them don’t like relationships, which is why they might find solace in independence because they are self-reliant on their own survival instincts.
This is what keeps them grounded, as asking for help from others shows a sign of weakness. Again, this is all a generalization, but I think it would be helpful to figure out what we can do to break into the mentality of the lone wolf and what makes them special from everyone else. Always, it will never be uncovered who the people we walk amongst are hiding.
