Matcha, green or black Honey, milk, sugar or plain Be it hot or cold What would you like to have at Illumination par- tea
Welcome to the I-C high tea that is specially curated to introduce you to I-C’s poetic geniuses. They are those who are master of few words but impactful ones. They say so much in so little, completing a task that at times is highly tricky. So since, I myself love to dabble with words and especially poetry, what could have been better than me introducing them to you all in a poetic way. Today the form of poetry chosen for expression is Haiku.
And yes, these are Haiku Riddles for you to guess the poet I’m introducing. So let’s get started…
Number 1.
All shade and shelter forever she’s a giver her name says it all
Any guesses? It’s none other than Medium’s poetry queen and my very favourite Tree. Tree Langdon is a name to reckon with. A name synonymous to it’s meaning. A lady, ever willing to help anyone at any time. A perfect mentor and more so — a beautiful soul. Truly the saying – less is more is apt for her so, read her works for yourself.
Number 2.
Cutting off the strands of what isn't good at arm king does no harm
Well, no guesses needed here as the Haiku says it all. Mr J.D. Harms is indeed a very warm and personable being, whose poems rock. I enjoy reading them as much as he must be enjoying writing them. May your power to express be the highest, Mr Poetry King.
Number 3.
To read and explore words are your forte, Barchi share with us some more
Deborah is skilled when it comes to words. Her expressions for every chosen word in her poetry stands strong, all a result of the uncountable reads she has done. And not to forget, be it any genre in poetry, the result is beautiful and a joy to read.
Number 4.
Poems say it all, any topic, any day she’s widely well known
Michele’s flair with poetry reflects in her poems. She pens them beautifully with utmost expression and feeling. One feels a part of them as you read along, for mostly they are a result of her real-life experiences. We truly love them and enjoy them.
Number 5.
Perfect to the core, what else can you all expect English professor
Any guesses - who this is going to be about? His writings display a plethora of variety and are always not just a treat to read but a lesson too. They offer so much learning, right from word choices to styles. So all I can say is thank you for educating us further as we read your writings professor Mark C Watney.
Number 6.
Words flow from her heart, creatively forever it’s Martine weber
A treat to read, heartwarming, joyous, expressive to the core and much much more. Yes, words are actually too little to express Martine’s writings. Once you read her poems you will be able to understand the depth that lies within and the purity of the soul that reflects through her words.
Number 7.
All free and flowing, inner spirits are calling come and fly with me
Free — without any catch or hindrance, rather any block is the kind of poetry, majorly free versed that we get to read when we read Feather🕊tales. Nina’s poems take you all along to another world that’s free of all vices — as she calls it — free-spirited and truly so.
Number 8.
Jack of all trades poet, lyricist, drummer meet Mr.Trakofler
I’m actually in awe of this person as I wonder how beautifully he manages his life. Blessed indeed, he is super skilled and gifted. May you always stay that way, Robert and keep us entertained with your great and thoroughly enjoyable writings.
Number 9.
It’s time to simply chuck pies, cookies and sweet toast let’s welcome Mr.Roast
A writer who spreads smiles with his writings and even calls himself funny. An immense joy to read as his words brings fun, laughter and he is my favourite too. Has a great creative streak and I hope that never changes and so do you too Mr Charles Roast.
Number 10.
A fondness with words his poems are all over life’s interesting
Suntonu Bhadra was one of those very first few poets I came across when I joined Medium. His poetry is indeed a class apart. Filled with emotion, joy, laughter or whatever gripping feeling is needed at that moment. It’s right there in his words to read on his profile.
Number 11.
Fitness to drama, lady does everything right acts too and playwrights
EP McKnight is one lady I’m in awe off. She is super talented as brilliant to the core. You name it and she does it… but most of she writes beautifully. An exemplary coach indeed, whose words itself are enough to express. Love her understanding of poetry and how she expresses it.
Number 12.
A Radiant smile, million dollar expression both on face and words
Introducing to you one of my favourites on Medium — Charlotte Zobeir Ali. A lady whose words are as powerful as her smile. She expresses with might even what the others won’t find right. Authoritative in her chosen poetic verses makes her a medium charmer without any doubt.
Number 13.
Eloquent and sharp, is this man’s poetic style, entertains for sure
It’s none other than yet another favourite, Liam Ireland. A person who was long lost in his island has found a niche in poetry. His poems are simply heartwarming to the core and a treat to read. May your words always be the reason to spread smiles to your readers.
