What you can do, I can do to. You may do it better, but as long as it gets done is all that should matter. You run, I walk. You talk, I listen. You plan, I work. We grow!
Now, here they come. Offering who knows what, but we’re eager to find out. As they begin to express themselves, we marvel at the magnificence of individuality. We don’t see differences, we visualize expansion. “Who’s the boss!?” someone yells. And someone answers, “We’re all the boss of what it is we do best! Now, let’s get to work!” We look at each other and smile, thinking to ourselves, that we couldn’t have said it better. With a team like this: doubt, fear, frustration, and failure…don’t stand a chance.

The Reason
Dr Mehmet Yildiz made a call, and we all answered. Why? Well, I believe in large part it had to do with the caller. The good doctor has a proven track record for wanting to help others, and with this being common knowledge, we all felt that we wouldn’t be led astray by following his lead. Dr Mehmet Yildiz is a shining example of what love and support are all about. He doesn’t have to do what he does by spotlighting our efforts, but this is just his way. ILLUMINATION is not only the fastest-growing publication on Medium, but it’s also by far the most family orientated one as well. ILLUMINATION is the missing piece to my literary puzzle. Now I feel complete when it comes to reading, writing, and interacting with other like-minded individuals.
Reading
The diversity within ILLUMINATION is phenomenal, it never ceases to amaze me what so many people can make happen thanks to just 26 letters. I’ve been enlightened so much thanks to people such as Paul Myers MBA, Amy Marley, Michele Thill, and Selma, just to name a few of the countless brilliant minds that make up this wonderful community. Reading will always be my first love, it’s the reason why I wanted to become a writer in the first place. So family, continue to allow me and everyone else the opportunity to read your beautiful minds, due to your willingness to share your compelling thoughts.
Writing
My writing has most definitely improved being apart of ILLUMINATION because it’s very inspiring, being in the midst of so much inspiration. I write to awaken or accelerate the greatness within the reader, and this is why I read, to have my greatness enhanced. Writing for me comes naturally, I never have to ponder on what it is I want to convey. I’m self-motivated, but I’m also motivated by outside sources. On countless occasions, I have read or heard something that inspired me to create some of my all-time favorite piece offerings. One such piece was created by, Amy Marley, who is one of my favorite ILLUMINATION family members. Immediately after I read her piece, I began to compose something similar, and which I tagged her in, as well as gave her credit for the inspiration. Keep writing family, because the reader in me looks forward to you doing just that.
Mingling
I've been apart of the Medium platform for almost five months, in this time my actions have gotten 202 individuals to come to walk beside me on this journey. Now, I know this isn’t a big number compared to what others have accomplished, but I’ve never been big on numbers. I’d rather have two people who are going to tell me what I need to hear than to have a hundred people, telling me what they think I want to hear. The majority of the 202 individuals in question are due to ILLUMINATION, before the publication like no other, I had thirty people interested in what I had to offer. Because of ILLUMINATION, I was able to connect with Amy Marley, Michele Thill, KeepingItRealWithAnnick, Jessica Cote, FILZA CHAUDHRY, Noma Dek, Simran Kankas, Selma, and Tom Byers, just to name a few.
So, in closing. I love everything about ILLUMINATION.
