If You Wish for Happy Mornings, Do This Before You Go to Bed
Don't be annoyed before your day has even begun

Gone are the days when I woke up in the morning, dragged myself to the kitchen to make breakfast to be greeted by sticky counters, a sink filled with dirty dishes, no clean spoons, and food crumbs on the floor. Ugh!
When you wake up to a messy kitchen, you are annoyed and you haven’t even stepped foot outside yet.
There is nothing like coming downstairs early in the morning to a clean, organized, and spotless kitchen. The feeling is heavenly and it sets the tone for the rest of the day.
A clean kitchen starts the day with a calm, relaxed feeling.
Happiness is a tiny apartment with a bright and clean kitchen
The kitchen is where dreams are born. It is the heart of the home. It is where we go to nourish, hydrate, connect, talk, do homework, and read. It’s where we spend time making dinner and making plans.
And it is welcoming when it is clean and organized and allows us to enjoy time with our family in a peaceful environment.
Cleaning the kitchen at night is a routine that sets the tone for the following day. It helps us start the day in a happy mood and ready to take on the day.
Waking up to a clean kitchen sends a warm feeling through your body. It makes you think you can do anything and cook anything because the kitchen is ready for it.
It is such a drag when you have to clean to cook. But it is a great feeling to clean after cooking.
The kitchen is where you put all the ingredients together. No matter what you do in life, you have to have a plan and put it together — Yo Gotti.
The dishwasher is probably one of the most important parts of the kitchen because it can make your day run smoothly or ruin it before it has even started.
When the dishwasher is empty, everyone eats and puts their dishes away, and moves on. But when the dishwasher is full or hasn't been emptied, everybody puts their dirty dishes in the sink.
The sink is soon full and the dishes spread to the counters and stovetops. Now the counter is a mess and you start to move things to the table.
The mess and the chaos begin to spread like a bad infection.
An organized kitchen is an organized life.
When the kitchen is a mess, life is chaotic. Little tasks become such a huge ordeal. It leaves us feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, so we opt for unhealthy meals just to get the hell out of there.
But it feels great when the stove and counters are clean and you bring the vegetables out of the fridge to make a delicious meal for the family.
I am so much happier when I clean the kitchen before bed because it means I can sleep in when my kid can find everything she needs in the kitchen to make herself some breakfast.
Because making meals is the hardest part of parenting.
To make like even easier and happier, I clean as I go. Keep the kitchen clutter-free throughout the day so there is less work to do in the night.
I put things back after using them. I load plates in the dishwasher and I wash pots and pans right away.
This makes it much easier at the end of the day when you only have a few things to clean up rather than the whole kitchen.
The kitchen is where we go to dance and be merry.
I explain to my 4-year-old daughter why I clean the kitchen before we go to bed — so we are all happy in the morning. Knowing this, she wants to help.
This not only takes some of the burdens off of my shoulders, but it also instills in her valuable life skills she will actually need.
She knows to clear the table after meals and put her dishes in the sink.
And we don't forget to sweep the day off our kitchen floor. There is no need to bring the mess from the past into a brand new day.
Whip that broom out and sweep the day away!
The kitchen is the heart of the home. There isn’t a single day you won't need to be in your kitchen.
Waking up to a clean kitchen is refreshing. Waking up to a sink full of dirty dishes is exhausting. A clean kitchen gives you a refreshing morning and a messy kitchen well makes you stressed!
Having a clean kitchen relieves stress. You find what you need easily. Breakfast is made on time. You are happy. Your kids are happy. Everybody is happy and it's a great day!
While you may not always look forward to cleaning the heart of the home at night, you will look forward to going into it in the morning and you will be pleasantly surprised at how effortlessly your morning goes. Try it and see the difference it makes.
