How To Be The Master of Your Mind
The mind is the control tower of your life

Dealing with the subject of the human mind is the most delicate and valuable work that people must undertake. Every science subject has laws, and it helps us in our personal development, and knowing the laws that govern the mind and body is very beneficial for us.
“Know yourself to improve yourself.”
— Auguste Comte
1. Know our mind and body
It is the duty of every person, for their own good and that of humanity, that we study and know the laws of life and obey them with all conscience. We all need to know the most wonderful organism; the human body.
We must understand the functions of the different organs and how they depend on each other so that all act in health.
What does science say?
Repeated heat-related dehydration has been associated with an increased risk of chronic kidney damage in mice.
A new study in rats published in the American Journal of Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology reports that drinking soda to rehydrate worsens dehydration and kidney damage.
Rats that drank fructose-glucose water after repeated heat-induced dehydration were more dehydrated and had worse kidney damage than rats that drank plain water or stevia water.
“Our studies raise serious concerns about the common practice, especially among adolescents and young adults, of drinking soda as a means of quenching thirst after an episode of dehydration,” the authors wrote.

We see that water consumption is the healthiest source as a means to quench thirst.
Taking this example, we can show that when we know how the body and its organs work, we can prevent harmful conditions and then with good discipline begin to practice the consumption of water as the main source of hydration.
2. Train and discipline the mind.
No matter our origin, we must educate and discipline the mind through study, observation, and reflection. We have to practice self-discipline.
A well-disciplined common mind will function more efficiently and superiorly than the more adequate mind that lacks self-control.
What does science say?
Doctoral researcher Gro Jordalen studied the correlation between motivation and self-discipline in athletes from early stages to the elite level. She interviewed both world champions and Olympic medal winners, as well as winter sports athletes between the ages of 16 and 20 who compete at the national level in Norway.
She discussed the following: What was more important during its development: motivation or self-discipline? And what was the interaction between the two factors?
She looked at how different types of motivation influenced athletes, such as prize money or the joy of playing sports, and the level of self-discipline with respect to their daily exercise regimen.
“A key element is the ability to resist temptation. When you come home from a long day at school, do you go to bed or go out to the planned training session? Self-regulation is clearly an important factor,” says Jordalen.
“Personal discipline, when it becomes a way of life in our personal, family, and career lives, will enable us to do some incredible things.”
— Zig Ziglar
When we discipline the mind, all our efforts will lead to self-improvement. When we understand our own shortcomings, we will spare no effort to achieve the highest standard of physical, mental, and moral excellence.
None of us should be satisfied with a lower standard.
3. It is everyone’s duty to develop the mind
Whatever our work, there is no excuse to do it slow or mediocre. We must exercise the mind by making plans regarding how to use the time to achieve better results.
There are people who take a long time to do simple tasks. On the contrary, we must overcome those bad habits, and develop a proactive mind, and correctly plan the use of our time.
Our time is very precious.
“Time is the most valuable thing a man can waste.” — Theophrastus.
Right now, you must convince yourself and become aware of your ability to achieve great things in life. By being aware of your potential and how much you can achieve, you have already taken the first step towards achieving success in your life. Also, building self-confidence is what you need to make sure you achieve your goals.
Your thirst for success will be derived from your interest and desire to achieve your ultimate goal. This will make the plans in your subconscious mind of the conditions and scenarios that you need in your life, to act accordingly to what your conscience considers valuable and important for you.
In this way, it becomes crucial in the process that you motivate your mind in generating positive thoughts and visualizing your desires. Thus, you will make your subconscious store quality information, which will be transliterated into a dream reality.
Takeaway Insight:
- For your mind and body to function optimally, you need to know how it works.
- You have to train and discipline your thoughts so that as a consequence your actions are the desired ones, and as a result, you achieve your goals.
- And don’t stop developing your mind, studying different topics and meditating on them.
Finally put into practice everything learned. It is useless to know all these things and not put them into practice.
Your time is now. In this way, you can have more control over your life.
