You’re simply not doing enough

If you haven’t achieved your goals yet you’ve only yourself to blame. You’re simply not doing enough.

Ever wondered why you’re yet to sport the physique you’ve been dreaming of despite working out multiple times per week?

Ever contemplated why after years of writing and publishing and posting on social media that you’re still earning a pittance and no one really knows your name?

Ever think to yourself why you still have to work hard to make ends meet and why your savings account is always teetering on empty?

Wanna know the answer?

You’re simply not doing enough.

You’re not putting in enough work. Exercising enough discipline. Nor staying focused or consistent long enough to gain any real traction.

It takes hours, days, weeks, months, and years of hard, unrewarding work to achieve anything worthwhile and at the minute, you ain’t cutting the mustard buddy.

Of course, it’s easy to make excuses, come up with reasons as to why and maybe even blame others for your mediocre situation.

Heck, you’re probably reading this right now and thinking, “Who does this guy think he is!? He doesn’t know me! He doesn’t know what I’m about, the life I lead, or the plans I have for the future!”

And you’d be right.

This is why this piece isn’t about you, it’s about me.

For the past year or so I’ve been very lackadaisical in my approach towards goals and life in general. I’ve been coasting and barely applying myself to succeed.

So, in a bid to change all of that, drag me off of the path of lethargy, back into the light of productivity, and maybe even make 2022 one to remember, in a good way, I’ve decided to push myself that little bit harder in pursuit of my goals, not give in to the temptation of procrastination as before and to do the things I know I should be doing, even when I can’t be bothered to do them.

It’s time to shake off the cobwebs, say goodbye to excuses, and simply do more in order to achieve my goals.

Wish me luck 🤞.
