In case you missed our previous prompt from our editor Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles

My life is made of us many colors. Fighting Depression, life, and the cruelty of humanity, I must paint every day. I paint my day with this Sunrise of magnificent colors of hope. Hope is a pill I take daily to keep sadness away.

These beautiful plants are fighting daily to survive in their environment. They don’t worry about failure or the elements trying to stop their progress. Their focus is giving humanity their best. And look at them smiling. Why can’t I, with my knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and love of life and living?
These plants look happy, vibrant, and strong despite the little they get to sustain growth.
Today, I am painting these colors for my strength. #Iintend2survive because life must teach me valuable life lessons through distractions.
Hope must be maintained, so I must paint again when sadness comes in. When I am distracted by sadness, I go on a walk. Seeing these beautiful flowers, it paints happiness in my heart.

Regrets are like a fire. What it burns, most times, can not be replaced or undone.

Life taught me that with lessons learned and with forgiveness. I can repaint and replace many things in my life.

Hatred touches all of us, many times from the ones we love. The heart below, actions, choices, and decisions aren’t coming from a place painted with love.

I paint my heart with love.

Kindness comes from the heart. I paint my heart with kindness and thoughtfulness.

Sometimes, I have difficulty understanding some of humanity. This is the crown of thorns. It’s beautiful and can hurt you, depending on how you handle it. The background is lovely too. Positive and negative elements are shown here. Life sometimes paints situations in our lives that show both, giving us a choice. Each of us lives is painted in different colors depending on our choices.

Life is full of disappointment, which represents the color green in my culture. That little bit of disappointment is what keeps this plant alive. Life paints different pictures than what many of us are thinking and seeing.

Life paints balance in many different colors showing humans its value to play its part in situations we face daily.

Life paints a picture showing how life and death are connected to each other.

Life paints that the truth sometimes hides below the surface and it will be a joyful occasion when it’s revealed.

These are a few of the colors that make up my life depending on the circumstances I face daily. There are many more.
I am thanking Dancing Elephant Press for this special brain exercise.
