If You Are A Creative Make Failure Your Comfort Zone
It took me 18 months to make some real money from writing

Choosing a creative career is the toughest yet the easiest decision I have ever made.
It was a difficult journey, but I knew no other job would ever give me this much satisfaction.
With determination and thick skin, I embarked on this journey of failure and disappointment, till I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.
Failure Is The Comfort Zone of Creatives
The creative life is fraught with failure. You will always doubt your best article, painting, or book.
Art is different for everyone. What you find creative is crap for others. They have seen, heard, and read better content than your measly attempt.
It is the harsh truth of life, you can never know what people will like.
Create hoping for the best, but prepare for the worst because most times you will be ignored. And being ignored is worse than rejection.
Most times your work will not interest or excite people. And you need to accept this fact right now if you want to play the long-term game.
Failure will be your companion until the muses find you worthy and give you a touch of success.
Till then make failure your comfort zone.
Fear Of Failure Will Never Let You Succeed
Everyone is afraid of failure. It is a phobia that holds back so many people from their true trajectory in life.
If you fall in this category, it might be time to change. Charles Bukowski said it right Don’t Try, if you are going to half-ass your creative journey then give up now.
But if you are an insane person with the self-belief that can move mountains and a blinding faith that you will make it, go ahead and give it a try.
If you are serious about becoming an artist then keep working, till the muses have no option but to grant you success.
Give it all you have. Or else it will be a waste.
You Will Be Pushed Out of Your Comfort Zone
Familiarize yourself with failure, make it your best friend.
You will have to write your first 100 shitty drafts, paint your first 100 shitty paintings, and compose a few shitty songs before people realize that you have something substantial to contribute to their life.
Humans are fickle, they change their interests faster than the light of speed. What works once might not work again.
But If you have tasted success once then you can definitely re-create it. It is all about chance and patience.
Just sit tight and pay your dues. Practice will make you a better artist. So, write your first shitty draft today.
Conclusion
It is difficult to make money from your art, you’ll have to face many failures in the beginning.
Things will improve as your craft gets better. So, don’t lose hope and keep on hustling till you finally see some results.
It’s all a game of consistency and patience. So, please push that publish button now because we need your shitty articles, we need your courage.
