If Over 5K Reads Continued
This could have happened to one of the Medium writers.
I submitted an article to the publication and thought it would be accepted probably. But a few days later it came back with a note saying thank you for your submission but they have to pass this time. A little disappointing.
Comments from editors are all different, I think. As far as I know.
But what I like about this editor’s comment is — “keep rolling” at the end of the comment. What I like about is because it sorts of showing the editor really knows how I’m trying. At this moment I’m on a quest of trying to submit TWO articles to TWO different publications per day. TWO days to go.
So, yes, I’m rolling.
A few days ago, I read a nice article that nicely combined psychological health information with her life episode with her son. So well written. It depicted how she taught her son to picture the other side of him, overcoming his fear and being able to ride a roller coaster. With the length of a 4-min read, she also closes the story with a successful ending, her son being able to ride a couple of times before leaving the park. With an expression — wound….
I guess he got a little too excited riding coasters...
Her writing encourages me to write a story like that. Health information and a little wounded person.
No no, it doesn’t mean that.
I should write health information and a success story in life. Yes, I got it.
She is a writer and has been writing books. So she is rolling well.
Other days I was reading other articles with over 2k claps and over 6k claps. They are rolling so well in their ways.
How do they do that?
There must be more than 2K readers or 6K readers behind the wall. That’s WOW to me. I don’t know how they are responding or even checking all the notifications with that many numbers. That may have become their tinny stress within happiness.
I haven’t checked their all articles. But I would assume they probably have more than one article hitting more than 1K claps.
If they have gone over 2, 3, 4, 5 years, they must have earned a lot behind the wall. Someone may have earned enough to buy an expensive car, like Rolls Royce. I don’t even know how much that costs. Just know that the car is expensive. Someone could have bought a used one.
If that’s his or her dream, then a dream comes true for the writer.
I wonder if the writer likes the car so much, the writer’s wallpaper on the computer screen has been changed to the Rolls Royce.

WOW. The writer must be so proud.
The aim at the beginning might have been just earning a few bucks, or hundreds, or a few thousand. Or just earn enough money to cover a rent and other living expenses. Can’t be aiming to buy a Rolls Royce from the beginning? I don’t know. Could be.
People sometimes say, “You got to aim higher!” But others say, “Set an achievable aim!” I don’t know if people say, “You need to aim for Rolls Royce!”
The wallpaper … the writer must be in it, in the car, sticking out his or her head smiling and waving to the camera. With sunglasses on.
Oops, the style is a bit old, like in the ’60s. The photo must have been trashed.
The writer probably stands in front of the car with sunglasses on, or even sits on the bonnet, avoiding the ornament.
I’ve been keeping rolling.

Rolling Hard. In the evening before getting sleepy.

Then, after two articles are done, when I finally go to bed and sleep. I feel like this.

If I have that “stress within happiness” situation, I would certainly write about it, sharing my rolling techniques. Like many other writers have written articles about how to get bazillion reads, views, and exponential growth in their earnings.
They all have months or years of experience already.
I shall continue, and I shall see what’s ahead of me.
But, for now, my screen wallpaper is a sea turtle, ROLLING under the sea.

Trying to find its favorite food.
A sea turtle should be my lucky wallpaper. I saw a sea turtle in Hawaii while doing SUP about a decade ago.
Too long ago?
I hope the luck has no expiration date.
