If Looks Don’t Kill… Arguing Semantics Will
Drabble daily word 80
The random word of the day is ‘Confines’.
“Daddy, run! Come on….sumpin’s wrong with mama! She’s squealin’ like her head’s on fire!”
“Well, son of a biscuit. If it ain’t one thing it’s your mother. Come on, Jake. Let’s go see what kind of mess she’s gotten herself into this time.”
“My wife’s a beauty, for sure, but she confounds the dickens outta me sometimes.”
“I want out, Earl. OUT! I can’t do this any longer. I need freedom! I feel trapped…I can’t breathe. I’m combined!”
“I think you mean confined.”
“Earl Bartholomew Walters! Do something right now or I’m gonna snap! Now get me outta this corset!”

If I could give out awards for Best Title it would have to go to Miriam Connolly for this mind-bending challenge in punctuation! 🏆
