Abstract

venly smell disguised in a coffee package… Have you ever seen an ad where someone is folding their laundry, and suddenly is transported to a vast green field; everything moves in slow motion as they wrap their face in a sock and take a big whiff? Well… that was me this morning. But I’m fancier, so I did that with a coffee pack. And I didn’t stick my nose in it… that wouldn’t have felt nice 🙄.

My experience was dreamy. I literally paused and felt everything around me blur out in distance. For a second, two of my weaknesses blended into one. If Heaven had a smell

My nostrils just experienced it…

This is not an attempt to advertise, and I am not getting any royalties from using this picture (wish I was). Photo by yours truly…

I wouldn’t describe myself as a “coffee snob” and, even though I don’t consider coffee crucial to my alertness and/or waking up process, a good mental boost is always appreciated! It’s more of a morning routine to me I would say. I just love the taste and smell of coffee. And this is exactly what this article was inspired by. What I experienced this morning, I had to share! And who’s best to share it with? No other than my Medium friends! Only a writer’s imagination can grasp such sensation!

I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that I just experienced a heavenly smell disguised in a coffee package… Have you ever seen an ad where someone is folding their laundry, and suddenly is transported to a vast green field; everything moves in slow motion as they wrap their face in a sock and take a big whiff? Well… that was me this morning. But I’m fancier, so I did that with a coffee pack. And I didn’t stick my nose in it… that wouldn’t have felt nice 🙄.

My experience was dreamy. I literally paused and felt everything around me blur out in distance. For a second, two of my weaknesses blended into one. COFFEE SMELL and CHOCOLATE!!!

I was transported to a forest of dancing cacao trees showered by coffee beans falling from a pink sky (no, it didn’t hurt)!

As I write this story while sipping my fresh brewed coffee, I don’t just get “chocolate undertones” … I hear chocolate beans laughing and whisper “Yes, we know we got you”!

My day is off to a heavenly start. I hope yours is too 😀
