If —
A poem inspired by Kipling’s poem

If you’re released of envy and hate despite sensing them all around you If your soul ditches its excess weight and you do not let it bound you
If you embrace your darkness make peace and it stops haunting you If a lot of courage you harness and your demons stop pounding you
If you have perseverance and grit do not give up when you’re let down If you keep going and do not quit and do not lower your head down
If you treat others with kindness as you want to be treated If you are not being mindless nor act vain and conceited
If you fill your heart with Love find someone you care about If you rise from your ego above and tone down your self-doubt
If you accomplish these and more then the stars themselves are the limit you could even open the Door and discover this world’s true meaning
