Ideas come to me like magpies wanting mince, Sometimes know exactly how to write nice story that makes sense with humorous potential, Regarded as useful icing on cake, Reminds me grandkids spot cake it’s gone before chance of icing it!

This story like snapdragons, Planted and watered grow and grow into beautiful flowers hold me entranced, Let me explain teaching ideation and doing research many years, Even though topic complex details at fingertips, Better get on with it!

Developing Ideas

Employers supply software tools for managing data, Universities gave access to MS Office, Subsequently bought own licenses, Decided to explore mind-map software, Honeypot traps, Some tools look promising but invariably constrain my thinking, One-size fits all design doesn’t work, Really annoying.

Another caveat about free-downloads open-source software, Spending time learning and using new tool leads to wanting more add-on gizmos, Only available when you buy professional edition! Sucked right in!

In my context keep things simple, Concentrate on ideas not dam tools, Using MS PowerPoint since first Windows version 1990.

Picture shows example, PowerPoint slides, Vanilla vine flower nodes and growing tips, Applied links, Click on flower links to close-up, Click on growing tip another closeup, Simply organises ideas, Three slides enable five minute presentation, “Vanilla Vine Growing and Flowering”, Memory flows and pictures talk.

Can get fancy, link slide packs join with videos Found imagination only limit.

Using Ideas (I fell down rabbit hole right about now).

Have collections of PowerPoint slides, Ideas for lectures, Thoughtful notes, Songlines of slides.

Rabbit hole tripped, Into Wonderland…

Each songline slide basis for poetic story ritual location on my life’s songline, No shortage of things to write but sometimes few years back during time of early writing reviewing ideas set off memories unpleasant times.

Stupid amorphisms, “Time heals all”, “He’ll get over it”, Remember events excruciating detail, Reflecting explains every detail’s context and causality, Understanding is only expectation, Pain lingers.

Coping through understanding gives certain wisdom and insights into my humanity, Surprisingly see life’s funny side balances other side, Smiling pain, My lesson in all this “Time provides balance”

Today reviewing and writing ideas through balanced lens brings peace and calmness to overactive mind, Believe my time here on medium.com writing and thinking coping with emotions opened me to spirituality and Gaia making me whole.

Blessed be.

P.S.

Writing story was memory adventure, Reminded me Tolkien’s hobbits, Bilbo Baggins opening door first step in his amazing adventure.

Left my story as jumbled thoughts tumbled into verse, Helped me writing them, Afraid I’ve messed up good intentions, Once more blessed be.
