Idea Evolution

The contorted lifecycle of unchecked growth

Creating originality, nonlinear contrasts, unlike them, ignited bars of control, universal accessibility.

Eccentric creativity, rivulets of empathy, just like you, networked idea boards, designing in God mode.

Theatrical solutions, stainless innovation, pieces of us, altered jittery kernels, hacking to finish first.

Unknown frontiers, optimistic parables, brave for me, trailblazers of tomorrow, behind-the-scenes saves.

Opening horizons, ongoing prospects, many of you, steamed midnight deals, ticking daily active users.

Branded delights, cooperative souls, win for us, tangled tethered cables, messiah for the masses.

Insightful minds, chasmic psyches, all for them, true factual discoveries, scrutinizing meta nodes.

Blocked realities, stockpiled layers, the new me, user-friendly fixer-uppers, mined tomes of education.

Tailor-made needs, customized replies, it's only you, cure to untouched aches, tears of trendy loneliness.

Implied precision, merging appetites, oceans of us, lighting every question, bearers of notifications.

Controlling supplies, obfuscating conduits, voices in me, celestial shifting features, proliferating bottom lines.

Balanced governance, centralized directives, beyond them, eyes glued to contrivances, square thought grasslands.

Discarding history, contained idealism, training you, hourly updated iterations, cached webs of addiction.

Shadow influence, unlimited mastery, same as us, devoted installed standings, obliterating our competition.

Founding serendipity, deafening amplifiers, growing me, fate-determining algorithms, impacted honeycombed cells.

Author’s Notes:

It’s challenging to capture a decade of technological advancement, and following human reactions. But it’s also not easy to remain a bystander.

I knew the world at the cusp of change. People who are widely considered villains today were once hailed as heroes. My generation believed in their idealized visions. We wanted to change the world — make it a better place.

Things have certainly not gone that way.

Most ideas aren’t bad. Reaching for more isn’t either. But somewhere along the process, priorities shift. Toward investors, bottom lines, and beating out competition. Treating people as consumers. Changing their behavior.

While messages of growth surround us, it’s necessary to question their intent. Investigate the degree of impact on our lives. Find our own voice.
