I worked two and a half years for a job I was not too fond of. Part three

Even after everything I went through with FedEx Ground, I eventually attempted to go back.
It was in November when I applied because I did wait to see if I could find any other work, but I didn’t.
I did the online real estate courses and got my license, but I needed to know the extent of the types of fees I would pay upfront while working as a real estate agent, and that is why I needed money to pay for these fees.
There are few options for someone trying to get into an entry-level job because every entry-level position has some requirements you need to have to be considered for the job. That was why I struggled to get a job aside from FedEx Ground.
So after getting rejected every time, I decided, even though it was the last place I would like to work, to go back. So I applied and got a response about a week after applying from human resources at FedEx.
They told me to come with an id for the training, which was about a week long. But my great-grandfather had passed away on Thanksgiving, and that week when he passed away, I was supposed to come in for training.
Even though this happened, I decided to go to training. When I got there, the girl from hr, who was a part of the training, told me to leave and that I could do this again after I told her my great-grandfather had passed away. There were no condolences. Just leave.
I did not even get to say my side. I should have seen this as a red flag, but I didn’t and went to training the following week. After the training, I started working again as a package handler.
At first, it was alright; some managers even noticed I had worked here before. Anyway, I was okay the first week of training and working, but they had this new setup where they gave you the schedule on the app, which needed to be revised.
It kept giving me the wrong hours, and when I called them and explained to them, they told me to call them weekly to get the proper schedule. And I said to them that the app was messed up and this wasn’t right;
they told me it was my problem that I did not get the correct schedule, like I was the one that made the app which is rude. I tried to hold my composure and deal with this situation with the schedule.
But this was not the only time I was here. They wronged me. My pay was being held, and I was curious if I would get paid because each manager kept telling me something different.
They hold a week at some companies, but they should be more upfront about the payment process.
A week into working, I told the manager I needed to set up my direct deposit, and they told me to go to hr, and I did. Still, hr was busy training the new hires, and the hr women told me to wait until the end of the day.
When I went back, I started to think that the hr office was going to close by the time my shift ended. I told the manager this, and they said they would have the other managers try to fix this problem.
So the other managers came over, and I started explaining the issue. They told me the exact thing I was right about at first.
This way, they do things they never did before, changing the argument like a hypocrite and telling me I was wrong that people did get paid bi-weekly.
As the argument continued, I kept telling them they were wrong about this. At this point, the argument got pretty heated when I mentioned other things wrong with their system.
They did not listen, and then I tried to tell them that I was harassed the last time I was here, and they did not care even when I started to cry.
As a result, the manager started to say I don’t have time for this.
My manager in the area had nothing to do with this argument, but I was upset, and he sent me to someone to set up my direct deposit, but when I got back, the manager that said he was too busy to deal with me.
I saw him talking to someone else like he was probably never even that busy, to begin with.
Anyway, I returned to the manager in my area and told him I did not want to work there anymore and said I was sorry.
I expressed that I wanted to leave to the managers I was arguing with, and they told me that if I left in the middle of the week, It was considered abandonment.
So when I got back from setting up my direct deposit, the manager that I had told him I quit because I felt there was no difference between leaving now or in the middle of the work week, and at this point, I had enough.
As I was walking out, I spotted the other manager I got into an argument with, including the one I had seen talking to someone else on the side, pretending they were busy, and seeing them just looking at me and smiling.
I knew that he was talking about me, but there was nothing I could do about it.
I left and have never returned since. But I got a job for pics inventory right after I left and began working as an inventory clerk after the holidays, so things did work out for me for a little bit.
