I Worked One Month On Fiverr and Here’s The Results
I made mistakes, I correct them; I learn and earn!
I have struggled a lot to get clients like most people. I never gave up on that even dragging myself into freelancing for straight 5 years.
Beginning
I started in 2016 when I was 14. I had only one goal, earn money and get independent. The “Internet’s Independent Influencers” inspired me a lot.
I loved them, they gave something to me that made me do my work. I decided to freelance my services, but how and where to start?
One day, one of my friends told me about Fiverr. I just quickly signed up and create a gig. That time, I had no idea what the hell is that gig?
I had no skills at that time. But writing was my plan. I was a better self-writer at school among my age fellows. I think it came in my genes.
I was blank, I don’t know about keywords, competition, guest blogging, and SEO has seemed to be a scary term.
Learning
It took me 5 years to get my first order on freelance. I learned a lot in that period of time. Now I have realized that:
Nothing happens too early or too late, It happens when we make it happen.
I learned about algorithms, digital marketing, storytelling, and selling myself, but it’s not the end; I am still learning.
My Orders On Fiverr
In January 2022, I got two orders worth $60. The First-order I got was about 5 tech articles and the second was about website content writing.

Things I used To Get Order
Following are some of the tricks that I used and they worked for me:
- Do keyword research-Make your gig in low competition keywords. It will help your gig to rank on top whenever the buyer search for that service. I made my gig based on the keywords that have 4000+ gigs, which is comparatively low. You can find lesser competitive keywords than this.
- Write Compelling Description-Your description is the first source of attracting clients. It should be clear, easy to read, and to the point. Try to use bold, italic, and highlighter tools. I am attaching the image of my gig description, you can take the design from it!

- Use High-Quality Images-Your image is the second source of attracting clients. Use images for your sample or previous work and try to tell something unique about services in your gig images.
- Stay Online-Yes! You need to stay online. It will help your gig to rank on its keywords. It will get you impressions, clicks, and ultimately orders.
- Be Patient- I kept myself in patience and never gave up. You have to wait, no one can get 10–20 orders in the first one. I got only two in January, and I don’t know when I’ll get the next one. It’s important to accept that things take time.
