I Woke Up Late Again! (KDP Blog: Jan 2, 2024)
I woke up 30 minutes later than planned, not because I forgot to set my alarm on my phone, but likely due to my poor diet yesterday.
Yesterday, my diet consisted of fast food, snacks at the cinema with a friend, and cereal at night. I’ve noticed that a poor diet makes me sluggish and hampers my ability to wake up early and be productive.
Many people don’t realise this, but a healthy diet significantly impacts productivity. Through my years doing KDP, I’ve found that I’m more productive with a good diet and less so with a bad one. Starting today, I’m committing to a healthier diet.
What did I accomplish today with KDP?
My day began with brainstorming ideas for a YouTube video. I finalised an idea and started scripting. Waking up late meant I had less time for YouTube activities.
For KDP, my objectives were to create A+ content for a couple of recently published low-content books and to catch up on KDP-related YouTube content. I accomplished both. Tonight, I’ll check my ads and make necessary adjustments.
Any struggles I faced today?
Aside from waking up late, I struggled to start working on KDP after YouTube. I don’t find creating A+ content very exciting, which made it hard to start. Once I did, though, I gained momentum and completed the task.
