I Wish I Could Be Them
Poetry
Here in my city Without you Again
You always know how to disappear You always know how to f*ck up my zen
It should’ve been you here With me Again
But you always choose them I wish we could be them But with you We are never enough You’re always looking for something else
My bleeding heart can’t be resuscitated My soul can’t be pieced back together This pain will have to fade over time on its own You keep opening this wound Will you ever stop puncturing my heart? Will you ever start valuing me? Like you could’ve done from the start?
