I Will Speak
for those who cannot

I am far-removed from the world of suits and ties, from the ones who sign their names into rules, write their voices into history.
But I can speak. I can vote.
The trees cannot speak for themselves and protest miles of palm oil trees or beg for mercy-soils. But, I can.
The children cannot speak of their violent homes or lax educations or drug-filled streets. But, I can speak for them.
The shape our our country, The shifting of our rights, the distribution of wealth up up and away from the poor — there are voices that do not speak.
But I will. I will speak. I will vote and speak.
I will vote.
