I Will Never Choose Defeat
Motivating yourself when it seems impossible
I’m picking up the pieces To my puzzle I’m putting myself back together Slowly, but with authority
Life can push me down But I can pick myself up There doesn’t have to be an ending I don’t have to remain in the mud
I choose to hold my head high Even when all I feel like doing is letting out a cry or sigh
Digging deep will be steep But it’s where my heart needs to take a leap My fighting spirit I’ll protect and keep For that is where my freedom lies Since I will never choose defeat
