AND I will remain faithful to you.

I told myself I was not going to jump on the band wagon and write an article on followers, and yet here I am… You see, what I hadn’t accounted for was just how time-consuming it would be to get to that all important goal of the holy 100. (I currently have 44 followers). So here I am, writing about followers to gain followers, after selling my soul to the writing devil.

From what I have noticed when using other social media platforms is that people unfollow. They use #followforfollow and acquire however many followers they want, then they go on an unfollowing spree. Loyalty is not a quality that is common amongst the social media world, and sadly that extends to your following.

I have therefore decided that I will not unfollow anyone, ever. Medium is different to other social media sites in the way that there is a real community feel. I love interacting with you all and reading everything from advice to random thoughts, or epic poetry. Even those annoying, but amusing authors that write clickbait articles such as David Hopkins, who made me feel as if I had been Rick-rolled for the first time since 2007!

Basically, I want 100 followers so bad that I am willing to whore myself out to the Medium masses. So follow, clap, comment, whatever — as long as you follow me, I will remain a faithful follower.
