I Want To Publish 150 Writing Lessons This Year Then Quit Medium

Okay, okay. Relax people.

I’m not quitting my career of writing online — that’s far from over.

But I do want to wrap up my time on Medium this year once and for all.

Why?

It’s just time. Come 2023 I’ll have been writing here for a whopping seven years. That’s 25% of my life.

I want to conquer new platforms and chase new horizons.

But that doesn’t mean I won’t end my time here without a massive fucking bang.

Here’s my plan.

There’s 220 Business Days Left In 2022

So there’s 220 business days left this year. I was thinking of publishing some 200 writing tips for free on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Medium, but I think that’s a little too much.

Instead my plan is to publish 150 writing tips at roughly 300 words each.

That’ll be over 45,000 words of content when it’s all said and done (enough to fill a book).

And these will be new lessons from me that you’ve never heard before.

I can’t wait to get into it all this year.

You can get this content on LinkedIn, Twitter, Substack, and here on this Medium publication (which I’m about to rebrand to “150 Days To Writing Mastery”)

When will you get these lessons?

Starting on Monday, February 28th, you’ll get three lessons per week until the end of the year. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

It’s a big undertaking, but it’s going to help you significantly. And it will help me become a way better writing coach, too.
