I Want To Go To Napa Valley

Should I go by train or limousine to do the tour?

You have several options to visit the wineries in Napa Valley. I pulled my favorite ones that I would want to do. These, of course, are in California, and there are many tours there.

Wine Train

You can take the wine train around Napa Valley, 36 miles from downtown to St. Helena and back. You will see the most beautiful countryside and wine vineyards ever. These are the wealthiest vineyards in soils and grapes. There are 33 estates along this path.

There are several itineraries to choose from that include meals, wines, and history.

There is even a Murder Mystery Dinner on a Vintage Train. You have sparkling wine with a multiple-course meal.

There is a lunch that is two hours long, and it includes a grape stomp. I have always wanted to do that. You stomp those grapes and feel the mush between your toes. It happens at Grgich Hills Estates.

There are also more lunch itineraries. Go to the website to choose what is best for you.

I love riding the train through the countryside and looking at the beautiful grapes and mountains.

The other option is flying to your destination and being picked up by limo or car straight to your accommodations. Your tour will handle everything after you have chosen your itinerary from beginning to end. Pick your location. You do not have to make one reservation.

You will start with champagne on the way to the hotel when you get there. You can wear your best clothes and pretend you are a count or duchess because that is how you will be treated. The food will be fit for a king, and the wine will be delicious. I can taste the grapes mixed with cherries or delicious fruit with the finest cheese. Then, of course, there is chicken. Always chicken, right? No, I am sure there are other things. The menus are on there.

Here is the wine region:

  • Sanoma
  • Kenwood
  • Glenn Ellen
  • Healdsburg
  • Dry Creek
  • Alexander Valley

You will see multiple vineyards in one day, with spectacular views. They offer picnic lunches with wine, and you have a tour guide throughout the trip. You will learn the history of the land and vineyards. They go back hundreds of years, and the soil is rich like gold.

The website has a list of restaurants, hotels, and other landmarks that you can choose to see. They have a lot of history themselves.

You will be satisfied on this trip and go home feeling like royalty!!
