CAST YOUR WISHES
I want a Million Bucks in Cash…
Dream, Goal, Desire, or Need?
It is like comparing apples, oranges, peaches, and a CRYSTAL BALL…
Now, tell me, does that sound like a DREAM to you?
For most of us out there, absolutely, it’s a dream. A dream that feels as distant as the stars in the sky.
But for a select 10%, that dream of a million could actually be within arm’s reach. A tangible desire.
For those with a plan, it becomes a goal.
And for the elite 1% (or let’s be whimsical, 0.1%), a million might just be part of the daily necessities. A must-have for their lifestyle.
Imagine, needing it to swiftly clear a pesky gambling debt.
Or to settle up for a bulk delivery that just landed on your doorstep.
Perhaps there’s a golden opportunity knocking, whispering “it’s now or never” for an investment.
And so the story goes.
But let’s make a pact, shall we? I won’t dwell on the world’s injustices, the deep-rooted inequalities, and the myriad of social dilemmas we face.
(Those topics? I leave them off my Medium page for the most part, thank you very much).
As I’ve lovingly noted in my articles before: the Universe isn’t up there weighing moral scales.
It operates on clear-cut objective laws. The keyword here is ‘objective’.
So, what’s the scoop with these laws, particularly when it comes to craving some financial love?
First and foremost:
To the Universe, MONEY (as we understand and chase after it) is akin to WHISPERS IN THE WIND.
It’s puzzled by our fascination with stacks of paper, digital numbers twinkling on an Apple Pay screen, the allure of crypto wallets, and those sleek cards — oh, the variety…
It’s much like how parents scratch their heads over their child’s obsession with the latest anime stickers or, in my “blissful” socialist childhood, collecting matchbox labels.
The Universe, in essence, remains bemused by most of our earthly “pleasures”:

Visas, passports, licenses, tax forms— you name it.
Cash, be it paper, digital, and its various homes.
The man-made mazes, permissions, and restrictions we navigate.
Feel free to add your own to this list.
These are nothing but figments of our collective imagination (or even hallucination), a series of hurdles and quests we’ve dreamt up. The divine, the cosmos, higher energies, Mother Nature, the infinite — whatever term warms your heart — plays no part in this charade.
They’re merely the rules of the game we’ve crafted. Simple as that.
But that’s a chat for another day. For now, let’s shift gears.
The Universe understands MONEY as energy. As a token of value, that represents energy used or created by a trade, or exchange.
This includes the whole spectrum, from bribes to investments and every financial transaction in between.
So, who gets first dibs on this ENERGY?
Those in NEED.
Yes, it might sound a tad odd, but bear with me.
The Universe is quite adept at recognizing NEED.
But it perceives NEED through an energetic lens, meaning it’s all about what each of us truly requires at this very moment in our journey to:
Keep our spark alive and well (health included, of course).
Ensure the wellbeing of our precious little ones.
Find a companion and embark on the adventure of parenthood. (If you’re in the bloom of youth).
Steer clear of a calamity that could send us spiraling (unless, of course, our soul has opted for this as a sort of karmic journey or necessary growth spurt).
Seize an opportunity, a twist of fate, to ascend to our next chapter of growth.
I might’ve overlooked a few points, but those are the heart of the matter.
ATTENTION:
NEED does not always equal NECESSITY.
Necessity: The bread and butter of life. Necessities are the must-haves for survival and basic comfort. They’re not glamorous, but they’re essential. Think food, shelter, health — without these, chasing dreams, setting goals, or fulfilling desires becomes nearly impossible.
Needs: Much wider subject. Needs do include necessities as a base level. But, on top of it, it will also include HIGLY INDIVIDUAL things. For example: voice for a singer, pen for a writer, safe car for a driver, toys for a child.
And much more — depending on the level of the Game we are at the present moment in our life.
NECESSITY deals with our BODY needs.
NEED deals with both: BODY AND SOUL. And everything in between: emotions, feelings, rational part of our mind, subconsious, etc.
As you can see, our needs are deeply rooted in the “here and now.”
What makes up this “here and now,” you wonder?
- The age and state of our physical vessel (our avatar, the temple of the soul, our earthly suit). And how fit and healthy we are.
- Having children under the age of 13. (The ‘why’ of it is a tale for another day).
- Whether we’re planning to grow our family.
- If there’s a looming threat to our life or wellbeing if a need goes unmet. The same goes for our children.
- What kind of disaster (or heart-wrenching loss) is on the horizon if the Universe doesn’t step in? Is this a chapter we’ve chosen for ourselves in this lifetime? And so forth.
- Where our soul is at, development-wise. What it’s here to tackle this time around. The experiences and levels we’ve brought into this life.
- If we’re poised to leap to a higher rung on the ladder “right here, right now.”
- Whether we can make it on our own or need a gentle nudge.
- If we know how to ask for and warmly accept help from the cosmos. If we can find joy in what we’ve been given.

Many of these queries, we can tackle on our own. Yet, some demand a bit of know-how, plus the knack for reading into and sincerely, squarely fitting those insights to ourselves.
Soon, I’ll be rolling out a bunch of pieces on how to actually use the Universe’s rules (drawing from over three decades of mingling with my clients, my own journey, and wisdom passed down through my lineage).
Expect these tips to be hands-on, straightforward, and, fingers crossed, easy to get. I’ll keep the fluff to a minimum and cut to the meat.
Except when it’s utterly called for.
Now, back to the matter at hand: let’s start comparing apples, oranges, peaches and Crystal Balls.
I’ll use real life cases of my clients, but with certain modifications to keep their info confidential and use less individual details, so more people can relate and apply it as a filter to their own situation.
Example # 1: Veronica
A young woman, a single mother with a 3-year-old toddler, working as a waitress in a not-so-fancy bar, during the evening and night shifts. Living in a rough neighborhood. She’s relatively healthy, but utterly drained, with no time, energy, or money for herself.
Trying to study online to land a new job. Dreaming of finding love and building a happy family.
While she’s at work, a kind-hearted neighbor, unfortunately married to an alcoholic, keeps an eye on her child. Her husband usually keeps to himself, but when he drinks, he turns aggressive and unpredictable.
Let’s view the situation from the Universe’s perspective:

NEED:
This woman and her son, Nicolas, are in real danger, both to their lives and well-being.
If anything were to happen to the mom, the child would be left defenseless and alone.
Veronica is young and fairly healthy. She dreams of starting a family and perhaps having more children. Yet, she’s strapped for time, energy, and resources to actively search for a suitable partner.
She longs to feel calm, attractive, and desired again but has lost confidence in herself.
She’s striving to learn and dreams of changing jobs. This could broaden her horizons and elevate her to the next level.
The Universe will respond to her call for help.
But, a million bucks in cash? That’s unlikely to be the answer.
It might do more harm than good, and chances are, she’d lose it.
At best, she’d remain at her current level after the dust settles.
At worst, she’d lose the unexpected windfall, get into debt, entangle with dangerous and dishonest folks, and might end up severely depressed and disillusioned, or even robbed and physically harmed.
Falling hurts more from greater heights.
She’s not ready for a million. It doesn’t fit her actual needs.
What Veronica SHOULD ask for:
A move to a safer, nicer neighborhood. (This could come in the form of money (a few thousand), a housing lottery win, a social program, an offer from a roommate friend, a new boyfriend, a live-in job opportunity, etc.)
A chance to land a job in a calmer place with better pay, bigger tips, and a more favorable schedule.
A scholarship for her studies.
An opportunity to meet a supportive and helpful partner.
Useful connections that open new doors.
That’s roughly the gist of it.
Practice makes perfect.
Let’s circle back and unpack this, but let’s keep it as straightforward as possible, focusing on when your request falls into the “need” category “right here, right now”, shall we?
So, you need a NEW CAR.

NECESSITY: Suppose your home is tucked away in a spot where buses and Ubers fear to tread. No wheels at home means you’re pretty much stranded. Need to pop over to the doctor’s, pharmacy, or just after the basic comforts of modern life? A car isn’t just nice to have; it’s your lifeline.
NEED: Your current ride is more of a danger on wheels, costing you a fortune in insurance and fuel, not to mention its never-ending appetite for repairs.
Or maybe: You’re side hustling with Uber, and let’s face it, a reliable, shiny new car isn’t just a want; it’s a need.
Or your work demands you have a set of wheels (think electrician, plumber, or anyone whose business card reads “will travel”).
Or here’s the game-changer: A new baby in the family. Suddenly, that tiny car or the old banger just doesn’t fit the bill. What you need is something with four doors, packed with safety features, and roomy enough for stroller acrobatics and a diaper bag.
These scenarios? They spell out NEED loud and clear.
It might also slide into the need column under certain circumstances, if:
You’re in the high-end real estate game and need a car that screams “success” to impress the clientele.
Your new job is far away, and getting there fast and in one piece means having your own ride.
Your business has you zipping around town or country and let’s face it, public transport isn’t going to cut it.
You’ve moved, and suddenly, access to life’s basics — a job, school, groceries — demands a car.
I might have missed a beat or two. Feel free to add to the list yourself.
So, the car scenario, much like Veronica’s situation, is pretty straightforward.
But don’t go anywhere just yet.
Because PART TWO of this tale wades into murkier waters.
We’ll explore the more complex and debatable scenarios with those living the higher life, earning in the bigger leagues, with a six-figure income…
What qualifies as a NEED for the well-heeled, and what signals will the Universe respond to first?..
