I Walked Outside in This Summer Heat

As soon as I step outside with my pen and this little notebook on a sunny mid-August afternoon, a warm wind blows fear from far beyond this very real overheated existence to a place where the sunshine starts going to my head while thinking that maybe it’s not the right time to admit to myself what I can handle as I’m usually a lot further from home when I get around to handling it.
