I used to be…
A Poem by Hana

I used to be a painter. I mixed paints on my palette to make the colour which I wanted. Some paints were too expensive for me to buy. I just needed to create colours with the limited paints I can afford.
I used to be a singer. I trained my given voice to widen my pitch range to sing beautifully. Some people have a higher voice, others have a lower. I just needed to sing from my heart with my limited voice I was born with.
I am a language learner. I assemble my words in my brain to create sentences to tell what I think. Some words are too big for me to grasp or handle. I just need to try and practice what my little brain has absorbed.
I am a lover. I collect your happiness and my happiness to share. Some poets explain what love is, and tell you what you should do. I just give you my unlimited love to keep you happy, hoping you also love me.
