I Thought COVID 19 Was Afraid of Me!

I take good care of myself. Wear my mask always. Avoid crowds and everyone else. I followed all of the guidelines and rules.

I have a few family members that loved to share everything they got. I couldn’t believe it when one of them got COVID 19 and shared it with me. I take good care of myself and follow all guidelines that should prevent me from personally finding out why so many people were dying from this virus. I thought COVID 19 would be afraid of me. It wasn’t. The moment I started feeling woozy, I made a batch of my homemade flu remedy. Then I get tested. I was positive. My flu remedy:

1 extra-large onion

One lemon

3 or 4 pegs of garlic

Slice the lemon and onion, then crush the garlic. Put all three in a pot along with 1 1/2 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Cool.

I drink 1/2 cup three times daily.

I repeat the process for three days with regular flu. COVID 19 fights back with more than three days worth of power. I went on until I felt better. My throat was on fire — more home remedies.

Four tablespoons of Apple cider vinegar

The juice of one lemon

A few pegs of garlic

One tablespoon of honey.

Pour the mixture into a glass bottle and shake. Keep refrigerated.

I take a spoonful two or three times daily.

The fire in my throat died down in two days. I take another spoonful when I feel a spark igniting. (I make new batches and store them in my fridge).

I do all of the stuff I do daily. Yoga for 35 minutes, I jog on two plush rugs on the spot for 40 minutes, read, rest, and write. I cook what I want, staying healthy. Today it’s been eight days. Yes, I quarantine myself. The power of awareness of self, body, and mind has healing properties. That tiny ability pushed me into action and prevented me from feeling the full blast of this virus. Every day I get better and stronger. I can’t let COVID 19 win, and neither should you. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. This virus showed me the weak areas in my life that I must restrengthen. Life is a fight, and you must never stop fighting. Information is available that can and will save lives.

Awareness is a tool. Use it to save and heal yourself.

My flu remedies work for me.

My sinus has also been bothering me. The eucalyptus tree grows wild in my country. I picked the bush, dried the leaves, and used a few to brew tea. Sweetened with honey and sipped. I get sinus relief for a few days.

P.S. I carry the dried eucalyptus leaves with me to NY. In fact, I carry several herbs with me to NY that are hard to attain in their natural form. In my culture, we have a rich history of natural herbal cures and remedies.

This remedy worked for me. Consult your doctor before you try anyone’s treatment or cure.

This new variant is breaking all of the rules and barriers, touching everyone. Maybe my family member didn’t share it with me. Maybe the mask didn’t provide enough protection. Maybe it’s fate. Whatever it is, I learned something that I will not regret. My awareness saved me again and I am feeling better every day.
