I sympathize with the Medium curators. Their time and money is limited. It’s like an understaffed HR department faced with an avalanche of resumes. Any normal human being will focus on how to quickly eliminate 95% of them.

I also agree with you. The publication you have proposed may do a good job of rescuing some great stuff that slipped through the net. I wish you much success and will shortly submit what I decide is my most worthy rejected piece.
