Primary Keywords in Titles (H1 Tags)
Ensure your main keyword or keyword phrase is included in the post’s title, which is usually the H1 tag.
This helps search engines understand the primary focus of your content.
- Title: “Ultimate Guide to Gardening for Beginners”
- Primary Keyword: “Gardening for Beginners”
Use Long-Tail Keywords
In addition to primary keywords, incorporate long-tail keywords (more specific and often longer phrases) in your headings and content.
These can attract more targeted traffic and have less competition.
- Long-Tail Keyword: “Indoor herb gardening tips”
- Use in Content: “Discover essential indoor herb gardening tips to spice up your kitchen.”
Keywords in Subheadings (H2, H3 Tags)
Use related keywords in your subheadings.
This not only helps SEO but also improves readability by breaking up text and organizing content.

Avoid keyword stuffing.

Action Words in Titles and Headings
Use action-oriented words (verbs) in your titles and headings to make them more engaging and clickable.

Specificity and Relevance
Be specific in your titles and headings.
If your article solves a problem or answers a question, make it clear in the heading.
