I Started YouTube — Earned 1000 Subscribers in Just 3 Months
Consistency and patience are actual success tools.

Being a Youtuber, having an audience is almost every kid's dream these days. I am also one of those kids who have a dream to be a Youtuber someday and earn a sh*t ton of money.
To achieve the ambition, after constantly pumping out new videos almost every single day I finally reached my first 1000 subscribers in just 3 months.
Thus in this blog, I will share with you how I grow my subscribers and share some advice that you can also pursue to hopefully reach your subscribers' milestone too.
Before I start firstly, thank you for your time. Please read till the end so that you do not miss anything.
How it all started
It all started from my first year of college(end of 2019). One of my friends named ‘Deep’ told me he started a YouTube channel and want someone to be in a skit video for his channel. As I had an interest in YouTube I immediately said Yes! and from there our journey started.
At starting we had a six people team and now we are only two left — ‘Deep’ and me. We started our channel as a roasting, comedy-skit channel and there we switched to vlogs. Currently, we are settled as a gaming channel.
Then I left
Continuing uploading videos for straight 4months with almost no consistency I finally left the channel.
The reason for leaving was self-doubt. As many of my friends were making fun of me saying I am just wasting the time on YouTube, created doubt in me. I was barely giving any time for Youtube at that time. That is where I thought ‘it's the end!’.
I started again
After almost 6–7 months I started again and this time the reason was quite strong.
If you visit our channel you will notice our first video has almost 80k views. This was the last video where we both(me&Deep) stopped.
So the story behind starting again is this. After 6–7months, I for no reason searched our channel and got shocked seeing that our last video got 40k views that time. I immediately called ‘Deep’ and decided we are going to start again but this time with some plans.
What was our plan after starting for the second time?
Here is our plan.
#1 Consistency
This time we said to ourselves that no matter what happens we will not stop. We will give YouTube 1year of our life and see if it works for us.
#2 Learn
YouTube is not only about producing videos. There are also so many things going on that we need to know about. For that, I started learning about YouTube SEO, analysis and he learned to edit in-depth.
#3 Upgrade
Uploading videos shot on a low-quality camera without changing or improving is not cool. It is acceptable at the beginning stage of the journey but after you grow it is no more sufficient. This is why we set a mindset to constantly improve for the audience.
These 3 strategies helped us the most in order to reach our first 1k subscribers.
What is happening now
At the end of 2020, we again stopped after starting for a few days as I lost my mother. We again started in the middle of 2021, I guess in April or May with the same motivation.

We hit 1000 subscribers in July of 2021. Currently, we are a 1.51k family with over 200k views. Now we are a Hindi gaming channel, uploading gameplays, top 5 videos, tips&tricks for low-end pc users.
Future plans
We are planning to reach 10k subscribers before the end of 2022. Also, start monetization as we only have a few hours left to fill the criteria to enable earning. Planning to upgrade our PC to play more advanced games.

3 tips for new creators
As I have come this far, I have some tips to share with you which I have learned and hope will help you to achieve success in YouTube.
Consistency
Remember I left YouTube twice before reaching my first 1000 subscribers and the only thing that I did differently than the last two times is that I stayed consistent this time.
Patience
I am doing YouTube since the end of 2019; so it is almost two years in my YouTube journey. The thing that kept me going is hope and when I mixed that with patience I got the result (Btw it is not the end though).
Educate yourself/Improve
The only crucial thing I learned from doing YouTube for years is that your viewers want you to improve. For that, you need to educate yourself. YouTube is not only about uploading videos. There are so many things you need to learn to stand out. As an example, I learned YouTube SEO and for that, instead of being a small channel most of our views come from YouTube searches.
So that is all for this blog. Hope you learned something from my experience.
