This story begins one day in late December of 2023, were my YouTube recommendations gave me a video about why blogging as software developers is beneficial. As I knew many developers used Medium I decided to write there.

My first article received 11 views and 5 reads in 3 days. And that’s when I decided to become a Medium Member, and join the Partner Program. At first I thought that I would need to write many articles to even get a return on investment. But after publishing a couple of them, I was surprised to see that on average, my stories got 0.50$ each. While that wasn’t very much, I realized that while writing around 10–15 stories a month it would be profitable.
