POETRY PROMPT: GREEN
I Spy Green
Celebrating green in the fields
Green barely shows in the arc of colors, colors of the rainbow hugging the sky. Sky of blue reaches the ground, ground of brown opens to field, field of multi-colored green spreads across vast expanse, expanse of meadow which is grass green, green is the color of home, home to young rabbits wriggling noses and hopping, hopping across lime green weeds weeds which harbor dandelion seeds.
Seeds of white float into the air, air transporting scent and seeds and waves, waves for birds to glide through through blue air they spread their wings and soar, soar as gracefully as deer bound through forest green green grasses tall which protect and hide; hide fawn, baby fox and rabbits, rabbits who nestle in the comforting green, green field that is home, home for our natural world, world of the rainbow, rainbow bending to earth to kiss the multi-colors of green.

Second try at this circle chain verse. Fun to do, so thank you, Carolyn Hastings, for introducing me to another new element of playing with poetry.
