I Slept on a Waterproofed Mattress

Too tired to care

After meeting two Aussies in the bar, Gabriel, the barman, and Ria, sitting on the barstool beside me,and drinking two of these, I went to a little Italian restaurant around the corner recommended by Gabriel.

Good pizza and pasta for around €10. I decided on a huge bowl of pasta quattro formaggi and I wasn’t disappointed. Too hungry to take a photo.

Came up to my dorm shared with two Colombian brothers, Javier and Filipe as well as a girlfriend, Frances, I showered and crashed. The bed was a bit cold but thought it would warm up. Which it did. I slept like a log.

Woke up this morning and found a neatly folded sheet on the bottom of my bed!

In my defence, I’ve never had to make my own bunk before.
