I see love on the horizon

Can love truly be seen? Poetry for the soul.

Love is here to stay. Can you see it as I can?

It was a cold afternoon, my thoughts running

wild into the uncertainty. Nobody could hear my

voice in the darkness. Wanting to break free, I fell

into the depth of distress.

I held myself onto a few joyful memories from the

past. Those were the ones helping me stand still.

Brightness was there no more. Nor pain anymore.

All the former things could not pass away.

As I opened my eyes from all this tribulation, there

she was. A soothing voice lovingly reminded me

that the sun always shines after a heavy rain. I felt

something come to life in the depths of my heart.

How can her green eyes do such wonderful things?

This was a mystery I had to solve. Soon I discovered

that love was visible and had a name. A name with

a beautiful spelling

A name that I could pronounce knowing that

someone was there to listen. I learned that love

can literally touch and hug. Love’s skin tone is

as white as the snow in Russia.

Over a cup of tea sprinkled with laughter. Love

healed these everlasting wounds. We soon became

one flesh. Love told me was here to stay whispering

in my ear. I was glad I found love. The personification

of love. Welcome to my life.
