With gratitude…

I wake up early morning At the horizon of night and day The stars just to fade away

I embrace this new day bidding yesterday adieu With gratitude I remember you.

I go for a stroll I see the open sky So pristine And birds flying high

The dancing of the trees To the tune of the breeze That rustling sound And with those little squirrels running around

The sound of the waves Hitting the shore Blended with the music of the breeze and the birds

Soaking the healing warmth of the sun, I rejoice in the sheer beauty of our mother earth

I take a pause, looking within I remember me, And, I remember you…
