The United Nations changed the friendship day to 30th July this year but somehow some countries continued to celebrate the first Sunday of August as Friendship Day.

On the morning of 7 August 2022, I found the newspaper making waves with stories about Friendship day.

I also received a gift of friendship on that day. When I looked at my messages on my phone, I found a message from Lady Dr. Gabriella Korosi that she had added me as an editor in her publication ‘The Dancing Elephants Press’.

I was thrilled. She wrote “there is no pressure on you. Do what you like. Publish some stories and feel free to make suggestions. I do not want to pressurize you or overwhelm you but join me in my small and meaningful publication.”

What kind and loving words she uses. She gives you the freedom to join a publication as an editor and make it feel like your own. Makes you feel part of the family. I am truly grateful to my friend Gabriella.

This is her true nature. She creates a very easy, friendly, and happy place for others. From the day we met, it was a friendship of fun, positivity, and happiness.

Gabriella is very dear to me. She is a very sweet friend. She and I have so much to discuss. We talk about life and its various experiences, nature, family, society, and spirituality.

I wrote a few articles for her publication and then she is forward thinking and many ideas float in her creative mind. She announced a book as part of the DEP Book project. I applied for it and she accepted me for this collaborative work.

Thank you very much Gabriella for your friendship and for introducing me to Hungarian culture, art, and embroidery( a sample of the beautiful Hungarian embroidery top that I am wearing in the picture is from Gabriella).

I am happy to work with my friends Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, and Sharing Randomly both of whom I value a lot and have worked earlier as editors in the now closed Coffee Times publication.
