Daily Prompt: Day 27: Write about a vacation you took. What made it memorable?
I Never Knew That Describing A Vacation Can Be Soothing
I was able to appreciate my ability to describe
Currently, I am saying this to myself…
Lalitha, you committed to participate in the 30-Day Prompt challenge, and Day 30 is over. You need to rush and complete days 27, 28, 29, and 30.
That statement is true, and I accept it as it is. As I write this sentence, I feel the integrity of my thoughts serving as a warm-up for my writing.
Now I am aware and present to the Day 27 Prompt while setting the intention to keep away from any thoughts of being rushed to complete the Prompt for Days 28, 29, and 30.
How am I doing that?
By saying, “hey Lalitha, let’s put those thoughts in our Mental Lock Box”
Done!
Coming to the Prompt
Write about a vacation you took. What made it memorable?
As I am excited to write about my vacation to Cancun, Mexico, I am stimulating my brain to ask the perfect questions for answering the question
What made it memorable?
First, I had an intense desire to visit Cancun, Mexico, as it was announced as one of the prizes by my company for reaching a certain milestone. I did not get the prize. However, after some time, I ended up qualifying for a free trip through a vacation program with my husband. That too during my birthday month. Haha.
That aspect itself struck my chords of gratitude, patience, accepting failure, having faith and trust, and divine guidance.
Let’s come to Cancun, Mexico, and see what made it memorable
Hospitality at Vidanta Resort, from check-in to check-out, was remarkable. The ever-smiling, courteous and helpful staff made a beautiful carving in my heart.
We were pampered by the golf-cart staff while gracefully transporting us from beautiful locations such as Hotel, Spa, Beach, Entertainment Hall, and Walking Trails. Every night we were blessed to enjoy watching dance performances after having a delicious dinner.
Our eyes were nurtured and enriched by beautiful aquamarine blue beach water, the Sunrise greeting us in the morning, and the sunset smiling to say goodbye after spending so much energy shining all day long.
The beautiful animal towel decoration, and the romantic room decorations on the check-in and check-out days in Vidanta Resort, spoke volumes about the sincere and affectionate efforts put in by the Resort staff.
I can go on and on, and now I need to open my Mental Lock Box to go ahead with the Prompt for Day 28. See you there!
