A Poem

I need to detox my dreams You keep making an appearance But it’s not you, I desire to see

I’ve been ready to let go But it seems you want to stay You need to go now You need to flee

I can’t make room for you anymore

You’re just a thought You’re just a dream You’re just a memory from the past Something I need to un-conceive

You can’t keep visiting anymore You’re being detoxed

You won’t be able to visit me without notice

I’m locking you away Into the abyss Somewhere far Somewhere cloudy With a mist Where I can no longer see you Where I can no longer envision you Where you dissipate into emptiness
