I need 100 subscribers for my YouTube channel

Canva Pro

I started a YouTube channel several years ago and I confess I haven’t done much with it. I got discouraged. It took a long time to make a video. Then an even longer time to edit. After that, I had to suck up a lot of courage and press the publish button to get it online.

Then I waited, and waited, and waited. What was the result?

In my three and a half years on YouTube, I have gotten 364 views and 18 subscribers. Compared to my year on Medium where I have gotten over 100 subscribers, it was quite discouraging.

So I came up with a brilliant idea, at least I think it’s brilliant: I would ask my Medium followers, all 128 of you if you would go to YouTube and subscribe.

Why the sudden desire for more subscribers? Well, I want to change my channel URL. In order to do so I must:

  • Have 100 or more subscribers.
  • Be at least 30 days old.
  • Have an uploaded profile picture.
  • Have an uploaded banner image.

I am good on the other three, but the first criteria is a sticking point. Hence the appeal to my followers.

Not to prolong this, I just need 83 of my followers to get me past the 100 subscriber goal. Will you help me? I am thanking you in advance because I believe you will. Don’t let me down.

You may need this link to do it, so here it is. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZu14_ZQhI8ATXx1j71gSOw

If helping me is not enough of a good reason for subscribing, here is another. It is March, National Women's History Month, and you would be supporting a woman. If that goal is still too weak a reason, how about this one. It is also National Social Work appreciation month, and I am a Social Worker. Lastly, you may have missed the chance to do anything for Black History Month, which was in February. You are being given another chance to support someone of color. There, I have given you three excellent reasons to hit that subscribe button, on top of you just being a great person.
