It was another great day to be an Illini!

I’ve never been much of a sports fan.

Sure, I loved watching WWE growing up and I never minded attending a MLB game. But with Illini basketball, something hits different.

They’ve been my team for the last few years. Now, as a senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, it’s even better.

The other day, I met the entire 2021–22 team at a local shoe store in Champaign. I couldn’t believe it!

All of the guys were super nice and signed a poster for me and a program for my dad. It made me an even bigger fan!

Now, I’ll enjoy watching them even more so the rest of the season!
