Grocery shopping can either be a painful necessity or a “fun” luxury. Either way, getting paid while you shop can really enhance your experience. I was surprised when I found a minor source of income that takes little time and effort, but allowed me to conveniently “work” whenever I’m out shopping for groceries.

Field Agent is an app you can download on the app store that pays you for going to certain stores, and taking the pictures they ask you to take. By following their instructions correctly, you can immediately make money within a few minutes.

The signup process is extremely simple and easy, and once you’re done you’ll be able to immediately start browsing the jobs close to your area. Once you have accepted your task, you’ll need to complete it in the given time slot.

As your earnings accumulate, you can cash out your earnings which will be sent to your PayPal. However, make sure when working to follow the instructions carefully if you want to get paid.

How much can you earn?

Location is a determining factor of your potential earnings using Field Agent. Larger cities are going to provide more tasks situated densely in an area, therefore providing more profit.

The great part is that the amount of commitment, your personal schedule, and how often you go shopping dictates how much you can earn. You are in full control of how involved you want this to be.

Field Agent isn’t a scam that is too good to be true. It’s a mystery shopping app that actually makes sense and offers profit for Field Agent. Producers and various brands want to make sure their products are properly handled and advertised at store locations.

By taking pictures or completing the various given tasks, you’re helping brands identify any issues going on regarding the distribution of their product. Essentially you’re also working as a product researcher for those brands.

My Experience

My experience using Field Agent has been quite positive. Although I am not as committed to the app as before, I still find it fun to occasionally take up some jobs while I am out for long periods of time.

While Field Agent can’t provide enough income for you to quit your job, or in my case shut down my other income streams, it still can pay as much as a day job. There just aren’t that many jobs for you to be working 8 hours a day.

Generally, I dislike working and making money with the time-for-money model. However, if I ever need extra cash, Field Agent would be an amazing tool to save up on my expenses.

As mentioned earlier, Field Agent doesn’t even take that much time. So if you’re worried about wasting time like I was, then you don’t need to. Often, jobs only take a few minutes while you’re at a store, where you wouldn’t be doing anything productive instead.

Since downloading the app, I had been able to cash out around $593 for completing jobs correctly. This is an example of how much you can earn with moderate commitment using the app over time.

If you’re someone who shops a lot, or generally has more free time, chances are you could be earning hundreds of dollars more than me in a shorter amount of time. Your earnings are all up to you.

Pros & Cons

Field Agent can be slower when it comes to payment, and lack job availability in worse locations. However, other than that, you’d be able to enjoy the wide array of benefits from this convenient, easy to use app.
