I Love You In The Fall

Bonjour mademoiselle..................................well, I can see that you’ve got things on your mind. And I know what you’re doing probably needs a fair bit of time.

And I hate to disturb you when you’ve got so much to do. But there’s something I’d like to ask you if I can, do you mind?

It’s just one little thing that means so much to me. And I hope you can listen and hopefully see what I mean.

I’ve been awake all night trying to find the right words. I’ve been up since dawn listening to the birds.

It’s such a difficult thing that I want to say. It’ll only take a minute and I’ll be out of your way.

Just give me a moment of your precious time. It won’t cost a penny, not even a dime

I’ve been thinking about it for hours and hours. I stopped eating and drinking and even taking showers.

I’ve been watching you from the window. I been watching you from the door. I’ve been watching you from all around and I really don’t know what for.

I’m obsessed and possessed by it, and it’s such a small thing. Perhaps if you’ll listen I can reach out and sing.

" Est-ce qui tu m’aimes.........? "

...............................................I'm sorry I started now, but it's driving me insane. I've spent quite a lot of time singing it down on the banks of the Seine.

I saw you last week buying flowers at the tower and I thought to myself........ "Oh she is sooooo beautiful."

I'm sorry, am I embarrassing you?

And then just yesterday I saw you again and you gave me such a lovely, warm smile. And I saw a little blush flash across your face and........

........oh your face is blushing pink now, can I invite to that bar over there for a drink?

Now I’m sorry I spoke, I can see you need time. It’s a really big ask, but I'm at at the end of my line.

It just doesn’t make sense not to you nor to me. I mean whatever on earth made me think it could ever be?

I’m sure you’ve got someone else you’d much rather see

I'll get along now and leave you alone. I hope you don’t mind if I sing if as I go.

It’s a sweet little song I think you might know.......

" Do you love me.....?" Oh I'm ever sorry, please forgive me, I really have to go. Abientot......you are so beautifullllll........I love yoooooouuuu.....
