I love you
Simple as that.

I love you.
Plain and true.
This poem might be for someone else,
But then again, it just might be for you.
So read it how you want, and take it as you will.
Just know that my words are sincere,
And that my feelings are all real.
I love how your smile lingers,
Just a little longer on your face.
When you tell me something that excites you,
Or when the food is brought out with exceptional taste.
I love the wonder in your eyes,
When I tell you something new.
Or the curiosity they hold when I have a surprise,
And you just haven’t got a clue.
I love the shape of your body,
Every dip and every curve.
I love the way my hands glide over it,
Like I’m traversing a private world.
I love your laugh that calls the sunshine,
That makes even the stormiest days disappear.
I love the way you hold my hand gently,
When I feel lost and life gets unclear.
I could go on and on, on why I love you.
And I’d still worry you wouldn’t understand.
So let me just say I love you.
And that I’m thankful to be your man.
