I love my puppy girl, Mia!🧡SMOOCH!
She’s a Chihuahua and Jack Russell mix. — AKA a Jack Chi.
A Jack Chi mix is relatively small, so they do not require as much exercise as larger breeds.
They are also intelligent and easy to train, so they can learn basic commands quickly. Additionally, Jack Russell Chihuahua mixes are generally good-natured and gentle, making them ideal companions for those who are not looking for an overly active or aggressive dog.
She was given to me by my daughter-in-law, Sari!
Like me, she always has loads of pets! — My other dog had recently gone to doggy heaven, so Sari gave Mia to me.
Mia and I were best buddies instantly!
So, the adventure began! That was 14 years ago.🖤 She has an upside-down heart on her side!
Shortly after Mia moved in, Matt moved also!
We have all heard stories of pets getting jealous, but it was my first time witnessing it in person. — Mia did not want me to give Matt attention.
Any dog can experience jealousy.
While some breeds may be more likely to have separation anxiety or struggle with the instinct to guard their pet parent like a possession, jealousy is not limited to certain breeds.
🤣 Mia was not very fond of Matt at first. 😂Funny stuff!

She chilled ot finally. Now Mia and Matt are best buddies.
I smoked clove cigarettes back then and wanted to quit.
I had tried a few times and failed. I did the Nicotine patches and Nicotine gum and failed.
Finally, I really got pissed off at myself!
I decided that every time I wanted to smoke, Mia and I would go for a run. We would run 2–5 miles every time a smoking urge started to creep into my brain.
We lived 2 blocks from a lake so we ran to the lake.
Then we would run on the bike/running path which the city had installed. It was so beautiful and best of all, I never smoked again.

It looks pretty dreamy, right? — It’s Florida, so it got pretty hot and muggy, but it was worth a good sweat!
Mia loved it. — She always knew when it was time to run.
She is getting pretty old now, but I am hoping that all the running made a difference for us both.
So it was the three of us, Matt, Mia, and me…
Then one day Matt was walking Mia, and a neighbor stopped them, and asked if we could take his dog, Bam Bam.
The man’s dad had moved in with him, and his dad hated Bam Bam.
His dad made him keep Bam Bam outside and Bam Bam to a tree. It rains pretty badly in Florida and we do have hurricanes, so it was a definite yes.
So now there were four of us.
Bam Bam loves to sit in high places for some reason and to this day, when it rains, the poor guy really freaks out!
Well, just maybe you could guess what happened next…
Those two crazy kids got pregnant! We had not even thought that Bam Bam needed to be fixed until it was too late.
Who the “F” takes a picture of that stuff?
Me evidently, but I Googled it and there are tons of similar photos out there. — I was in shock! — Okay, I should have known, but every male dog I had ever had was fixed. — At least I didn’t include a video, right?
Mia had a very normal pregnancy.
After all of that running, she was fit as a fiddle.
We gave all of the puppies away but 2 years later, we got one back!
The people we gave one puppy to was keeping it in a dog crate all the time, and he never got potty trained and had been standing in his own pee and poop all day every single day.
They said either we take him or he’s going to the pound.
So we got him back, tossed him the tub, washed his poor pee and poop-soaked feet, and kept him. The people were supposed to get him fixed before dropping him off but didn’t.
Thor was in my silly Kit Kat video.
So he wasn’t fixed. We made an appointment at the vet, but before we could take him, he was humping Mia, his mom!
We gave away 2 puppies and kept one.= — Meet Daisy Duke.
I know what you’re thinking. — Yes, indeed. We are insane! 👉4 dogs.
So this whole group started with Mia and me.
I love my Mia so much! — She’s my baby girl!
Mia’s getting pretty gray now.
Part of the motivation to walk is to be able to at least walk outside with Mia.
Mia is 16-plus years old. — I just got her a new bed.
She lays on it right next to my desk when I am working on the computer.
She is very happy and the boss of the other dogs.
The average lifespan of a Jack Russell Chihuahua Mix is 13–15 years.

I had a stroke so I am disabled and am kicking major ass.…well in some ways. I can’t walk or talk well but I’m a writing MO-FO! Kickin’ serious BUTT 100%!
This is my silly stroke therapy video. The focus on my face is hilarious! A crazy-ass redhead who is not at all normal and proud of it. I love people and love helping them. Unconventional seems right. Fearless and focused.
