I Love My Blind Husband

It spices up our relationship.

My husband has been blind for as long as I’ve known him, and I’m thankful for that. Some people think it might strain our relationship but I feel like it strengthens it.

Sven is really quite adorable, especially when I sneak into a room and gently graze the back of his neck. The way his mood softens and his face lights up makes my heart melt.

His blindness also spices things up around the house. He’s gotten insanely good at hearing and can pick up on the slightest floorboard creak. Whenever I try to pounce on him his ears will perk up as he turns to face me.

“Morning Tess,” he’d grin excitedly.

His little pet name for me which I’m okay with, Contessa is quite a mouthful. In the end, I always get the best of him. I’ll slink through the house and slide my hands around his waist and into his pants. He’ll complain and try to pretend to fight me off, but he loves it when I catch him off guard. It’s adorable.

Sven was also well endowed with geniality and good humor. The other day while I read the morning paper I spoke up about an article I came across.

“Did you see another kid has gone missing this month?”

“I didn’t see anything,” he replied with a straight face.

The best part about being married to Sven is that I don’t need to dress up every day. It’s the middle of summer right now and the heat is absolutely brutal. I’ve been sweating buckets and figured to heck with it. I’ll go at it nude.

When Sven had awoken a little after me he lazily shuffled about the house fawning for my affection.

“Where are you at my lovely, Tess?” he would call out with a wide grin across his face and a morning bulge in his pants. “How about a game of Marco Polo?”

Our games of Marco Polo always end the same way, both of us naked. Whether we were horizontal on the bed, sprawled across the couch, or bent over the dining room table it was considered a shared victory for the both of us. I hated the idea of getting hot and heavy when I was already sweating enough to make a swamp look dry and hadn’t eaten breakfast yet, there was no way I would partake in any extracurricular activities.

Unencumbered by my human suit I silently scurried up the wall and onto the ceiling. I had to be mindful of my coffee cup the entire time and keep it vertical. I sucked in my abdomen as Sven’s head passed below, only inches away from me.

He felt his way around the kitchen and I could see the growing frustration on his face. With his head hung in defeat, he sulked toward the living room with hopes of satisfying his carnal desires.

I crept into the corner where I had encased the young boy from the newspaper in a web. I munched away at what remained of his leg while he stared back at me with a jaundiced eye and a contorted face. He wasn’t dead yet, and I wouldn’t be able to stomach him, but thankfully my venom would keep him sedated enough to where he couldn’t make any noise or wiggle free.

After my hunger was thoroughly satisfied I scurried along the ceiling and into the bedroom. There I slipped back into my human suit and found Sven in the living room on the couch. I dropped directly behind him and wrapped my arms around his chest allowing my hand the opportunity to breach his waistband.

He chuckled and leaned his head back to nibble on my neck. “How do you always sneak up on me like that?
